Technology & Engineering Leader and founder with 12+ years across real estate platforms, applied AI/ML and secure on-prem / cloud data systems. Currently building Glowing Pixels, a sovereign "AI behind the firewall" automation platform for SMEs and regulated organisations. Combines deep infrastructure work (Kubernetes, Talos/NixOS, GPUs/NPUs, secure networking) with hands-on delivery of SaaS, automation and data systems in operationally critical environments. Experience spans startups and established companies: from Lead Manager for a multi-year applied R&D programme in MEMS/accelerometer-based sensing and navigation, to leading engineering teams at German product companies and building new functions (e.g. QA organisation) from scratch.

- Lead technology strategy, platform engineering and delivery for sovereign AI / automation initiatives in regulated, privacy-sensitive environments.
- Built secure on-prem AI and automation platforms using GPUs, NPUs and edge hardware, encrypted mesh networking and event-driven workflows ("AI behind the firewall"), reducing external data exposure to zero for sensitive workloads.
- Delivered private inference and document automation pipelines for classification, routing, extraction and workflow orchestration across ERP/CRM/DMS systems, turning previously manual inbox/attachment flows into structured events.
- Defined technology roadmaps, governance models, delivery cadences and SLO/SLI frameworks tied to business KPIs.
- Constructed data ingestion and processing pipelines with schema validation, routing and ML enrichment, making it possible to plug new models or hardware into existing business workflows without re-architecting everything.
- Ran discovery, scoping, financial modelling and de-risking spikes for new AI/ML-driven products and internal tools.
- Alongside building Glowing Pixels, I take on selected consulting engagements in AI / infra to fund development and validate parts of the platform in real environments.
Managed cross-functional engineering teams at one of Germany's leading real-estate platforms and was selected to build a company-wide QA department (Director-track) before rollout was paused due to a company-wide investment freeze.
- Led backend, frontend and platform teams; owned hiring, performance, coaching and team health.
- Partnered with product and design to drive outcome-focused roadmaps and remove structural bottlenecks.
- Raised engineering maturity: CI/CD, observability, test strategy, incident / on-call processes.
- Designed the QA org (charter, structure, hiring plan, KPIs) and hired initial senior QA engineers; core practices were later adopted by multiple teams despite the formal rollout being halted.
